The Lake Jackson Intermediate 8 th Grade Red Panthers Football team played their final game Tuesday night in Alvin against the Fairview Falcons. The Panthers took the opening kickoff and The offense moved the ball down to the one yard line where Kellen Pullen plunged in from one yard out to make the score 6-0. The Panthers would then kickoff and Gavin Guyton would recover the fumbled kickoff. It would not take long to score as Jose Trevino would dash 40 yards on his way to the end zone for another score. Pullen would then find Owen Roberts on a short pass for the extra point making the score 13-0. The defense would then take the field and on the first play Fairview would have the ball stripped from them by Shadin Coulter and recovered. Two plays later Pullen would hit Miguel Nava on a deep 45 yard touchdown pass bringing the score to 19-0. The next defensive possession. Guyton would step in front of a pass, intercepting it and returning it to the Falcon 35 yard line. Two plays later Trevino would run 30 yards for another touchdown making the score 25-0. On the following possession Guyton would then recover another fumble by the Falcons, giving his offense the ball back yet again. The Panthers would score again on a run by Jose Trevino of 40 yards, making the score at the Half 31-0. The opening kickoff of the second half, the Falcons fumbled and Guyton scooped the ball up and scampered 35 yards for another Panther touchdown. Making the score 38-0. The Panthers would round out the Scoring in the Game with a 65 yard touchdown run by Jose Trevino as Zack Whipple would kick the extra point through making the final score Panthers 45 Falcons 0.
